ARES PTA Programs
AssembliesARES PTA is proud to bring The Imagination Machine assembly to our students this year. Since 1981, The Imagination Machine has been inspiring children to open their minds and let their imaginations run free!
The Writing Show will literally bring selected students' own stories to life! Nothing inspires students to write like watching their own words spring onto the stage, fully-fleshed out in a complete production with professional actors, music, props and costumes! Selected authors also receive a Certificate of Writing Achievement at the end of the show. This is the show that will have your kids begging to write stories! |
Because Nice MattersOriginating in 2012 as a district-wide TVUSD program, "Because Nice Matters Week" is a campaign designed to educate students about the harmful effects of bullying, to promote kindness and compassion, and encouraging each student to take stand and have a voice in making each campus a "Bully-Free Zone."

Family NightsEngaged parents make a difference for student success in school and beyond. Whether it’s reading together, monitoring homework at the kitchen table, talking to teachers about a child’s progress, joining PTA, or taking an active part in school governance and decision-making, parent involvement is vital to student achievement. Family engagement is at the core of what PTA is about, and family nights are designed to be both fun and educational activities you participate in with your child. Please join us at the next family event!

School AssistanceWorking with Principal Cole and our teachers, ARES PTA helps fill in the gaps that district funding is unable to provide. Sometimes that means school supplies for our teachers, new books for the library, upgrading classroom technology, or replacing worn out playground equipment. Your donation to PTA helps make sure our school is the best it can be for our children.
